Abracadabra was built in Hawaii for the Aloha Racing syndicate to compete in the 2000 America’s Cup in New Zealand. Hereye-catching hull is painted with whales and dolphins by the world-famous marine artist Wyland.
With space for up to twelve guests, your team will actively sail this boat together with her professional skipper and crew. You and your mates will raise and trim her massive sails, tack and change headings by grinding the pedestal winches (coffee grinders), and the most fun job of all—steer the boat. Your sail is crewed and skippered by some of the most experienced and competitive sailors in the world, including its skipper, Mark Strube. Mark was originally involved in the building of Abracadabra in Hawaii, and sailed her in the America’s Cup trials in New Zealand. Mark has also sailed in the biggest races all over the world, including first place wins in Star Boat racing (two-time North American Champion), the Bacardi Cup, and first place in the Yachting Cup on Roy Disney’s famous racing boat Pyewacket.
